I debated posting this, but I do beleive in the power of prayer and our family is in need of prayers at this time. My sister has been diagnosed with stage 4 renal (kidney) cancer. We remain hopeful, although we have been told the prognosis is poor. Please keep her and our family in your prayers.

I am very sorry to hear that Sue. Godspeed to you and your family in these trying times.

Due to the extent of the metastes of the cancer,which at this point is past treatment we are having her transferred to an in patient Hospice Unit, with a prognosis of "weeks or less". Please continue to keep our family in your prayers and pray that she does not suffer.

I know this is a shock to your family but in some ways it is a blessing. I have experienced the insidiousness of cancer and though it hurts those of us who weren't ready to say goodbye, at least you can rest assured that her suffering is over and she is in a better place. May God bless you and your family and keep you in His loving arms.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts, prayers and cards. Its been a rough week, and I really appreciate your support.

Now if I can ask you to keep praying, and this time add Diane and Steve (yellow tahoe that are always with us at the lake) they have helped our family through all this, and they are now dealing with the passing of Steve's dad.
