Are these people for real???

I just got an e-mail from Ticketmaster. There seems to be a group playing in Columbus called The Butthole Surfers! Anyone heard of these guys? Is this an "alternative lifestyle" band or what?? I think I'll refrain from buying tickets to this concert! The name just kind of creeps me out!!!
