I seriously doubt that. My guess is they need to backup their posts and stuff while they can and do a reload or a upgrade if one is available. Hopefully they could do a overinstall or something and not lose anything.

The reason we lost stuff when ours went down for 4 hours that day is because I had been lazy and hadn't done a backup in over a month of the database. I had only backed up the forum.

Wow, for the first time I stay off the internet for about 16 hours straight and I miss all the good stuff.

I just logged in but I see there have been some issues. I have only seen what is on here thus far but I will look over things.

You guys know we don't compete and I was hoping others could respect that. If a rule like that was enforced even though we just had a peace keeping forum party I agree it is sad unless one of us posted a in your face type message.

Hopefully we can all get along... And maybe the peace will one day be reciprocated. :|

I have always been fairly quiet about how I think things were ran over there, just never thought it was my place to critique. However I will say that censorship will be the death of that place, a long slow death. Nothing good EVER came from censorship...

Amen!!!! I've been saying that for yrs. Looks like it could possibly be coming true. Truely sad.

And as E said, right after a peace keeping gathering too. 8-|

Should I go post a link on LC.com to this one? That way they could hang out here whenever that one goes down. :D

They link to www.cumberlandcrawl.com and mention Grider Hill"s http://griderhillpatrons.com/FORUM/

I sincerely believe it would be good for everyone if they all linked together. Each forum has different things to offer.

Still down, different message though. Site maintenance or something like that... I am guessing the importation of the forum data was not successful...

:( That sucks, especially when you have a day job and are the person with it down. I am sure he is getting flooded with e-mail etc.

Really? I mean it has been published that they were doing the server migration so... why would anyone bother them about it? I am sure you are right, I am just struggling with why. It's not like it has my ERP system on it and I need to make something...

Some people need to get a life! I sometimes let you know it's down, just to make sure you are aware of it. If you told me it was down for three weeks I would not sweat it at all...
