A man told Lexington police a driver nearly ran him down when he interrupted a love-making session in his front yard early Tuesday morning.
The victim says he spotted a car parked in the front yard of his home on Edgelawn Avenue around 2:30 a.m. When he walk up to the car for a closer look, he saw a man and woman inside having sex. When he confronted the couple, the man hit the gas, driving the car straight at him. The vehicle grazed the victim's leg as the couple took off. The man says the car circled the block a few times, then disappeared.
The victim was shaken up, but not injured.
Police say they are searching for a cream colored Mitsubishi Eclipse. Investigators say the driver will face a wanton endangerment charge if caught
