In my opinion this pretty much ruins it for me. I come to watch those big nasty fast boats grind out some horsepower and rip down the lake from State Dock to Conley Bottom Saturday morning.

..now it just as well be a pontoon poker run. Problally will end up being that if they don't change something.

Well, hopefully the same doesn't happen to Grider's Poker Run, maybe I'll start going to it... Sad I missed it this year now but was holding out for what I thought would be a better one.

Talking about a hornets nest being stirred. Just curious will it go back to regular format next year.

Maybe depends on the turnout? I bet if it stays this format by year 3 turnout will be halved...

It may not take that long. Unless some of the big guns get together behind the scenes and run it shot gun style.

Well, I guess I will be down to see how it all plays out. If I don't get to see some nice big boats romping down the lake it might just be my last.

it better be good this year or it's LS fest @ Beech Bend next year...
