1st Annual Lake Cumberland Fishing Derby

Grider Hill Marina & Resort presents The 1st Annual Lake Cumberland Fishing Derby, Sunday September 11th through Sunday October 9th, 2011.

Start History with your family and friends at Grider Hill Marina & Resort. Bring your Dad, Son, Daughter, Wife, Grandfather, Grandmother and your Best Friends!

Eligible species include: Striper, Small Mouth, Large Mouth and Crappie.

Lake Cumberland Fishing Derby Pins will be awarded daily for the top fish in each species.

Cash prizes will be awarded on each Friday and Sunday for the top fish in each species. $25 on each Friday for the top fish in each species caught Monday through Friday and $25 each Sunday for the top fish in each species caught on Saturday and Sunday. Rent a room or houseboat at Grider Hill Marina & Resort and your cash prize is doubled to $50!

Grand Prizes for the top fish in each species will be awarded on October 9th and will be determined by the number of participants.

There will be a prize drawing at the end of the derby on Sunday October 9th just for participating! You could win: 4 Day Houseboat Rental, Pontoon Rental or Weekend Lodging from Grider Hill Marina & Resort plus many other prizes from our sponsors! Participants do not need to be present to win.

Weigh-in is at 8:00 – 10:00 AM and 3:00 – 5:00 PM CST each day. Only fish caught from a boat are eligible, no shore fishing. All boats must launch from and return to Grider Hill Marina & Resort.

Entry fee is only $45 for adults, $20 for kids (under 14) or $60 for your entire immediate family. Price includes unlimited days fishing and boat launch anytime during the derby.
