Polar Plunge

Post by howlatmoon3 »

Well, I'm doing it again this year and surprisingly so is Logan, my 8 year old..
I think it's my 5th time and Logan's 2nd but the cold water has killed my memory so I'm not completely sure.
Not only will we be taking a chilly dip in Lake Cumberland at Lee's Ford Resort and Marina, but we’ll be raising money for children and adults in Kentucky with intellectual disabilities so that they can have the opportunity to experience the joy of sports training and competition through the Special Olympics.
We are asking you to help by supporting our fund-raising efforts with a donation.
Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference in the lives of many!
It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause - you can make your donation online by simply clicking on this link.

Or
Logan's link is http://events.soky.org/goto/logan
The plunge is taking place at 11:00am on February 27th. BURRRRRRRRR
If you would prefer, you can also send your tax-deductible contribution , just let me know and I'll get you the forms. Any amount, great or small, helps the cause.
I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.
THANKS,
SCOTT Lauch (howlatmoon3)

Pre2012-Conley Bottom Mostly, Waitsboro, Alligator I&II ramps, Leesford, Pulaski County Park (when it has water), Grider, State Dock (via boat), and Jamestown are a few places you might find me.

Well Kasie and I donate the same amount every yr. But instead of spreading it out to a bunch of folks, I wanted to give the money to him. Good kid raised by some good parents. And he jumps in that cold a s s water. Salute.

And it all goes to a great cause, that's the best part.
