I think he went out with the frist group but he did not come back with them. I don't know what or where he broke but he did not come back from the first leg.

The port side engine had a fire at 160 MPH over by Fall Creek and took on some water. I went over and pumped it out. He was able to restart the starboard engine and limp back to State Dock.

It is a 50' Skater.

I told him now he could go home and tell his friends the boat ran like it was on fire!

No major damage. Just some wiring and a water hose.

I knew that boat did not pass me and Hillman as we were all setting under the Skull.
Man, that's a nice looking boat too. Beautiful!

Is this possibly one reason a lot more local guys don't participate in the Poker Run?

Waterwings, if you are talking about the speed, we all should remember that a bass boat won a few years back. It is a poker run, not a race. However you would be hard pressed to find a person who will agree with me on that.
