When I was down at the Marina a couple of weeks ago they were in the process of converting the large empty space between the old Launch Ramp and the walking ramp to the Marina into a very large parking lot.
Woo Hoo, it's about time!!!!!
They had everything pretty much graded when I was there and they were awaiting the arrival of the gravel for the base. It should provide a LOT of extra parking down below without having the climb the hill. I am looking forward to it. They have also put up a small 2 foot fence all around the paved area from the old launch ramp arounf the corner to the walking ramp with nice plants and flowers. It should look good when it si done. They were still clearing the other side where the fuel lines are and it was looking better.
It will also help when the lake goes back up because that area was full of old cement blocks and sunken debris form days gone by that were a navigation challenge. Especially since I am in the first slip facing that area, it will help me!
