OK, here is the one thing that bugs me about State Dock a little. When they have a special event, you cannot get in to the food vendors without paying admission for whatever is going on. The hospital in Danville is a "regional" hospital. But if anything serious happens here or in Somerset.....trust me....you are going somewhere else. Even Somerset and air medical take pts to UK, U of L, and Vandy all the time.

hot sweaty weekend

It was nice hanging at State this weekend with some pretty cool people. And finally got to see Dolphin for the first time this year! Just l ove that place!

I was "kinda" there. I was at Harmon and on the way there lots of them screaming by and then all of a sudden seemed like lots of them came in Harmon for the afternoon. Awesome boats!

I was there Sunday morning and took the shuttle up to the lodge for breakfast.

$20.00 to raft up.....that's the most stupid thing i've heard in a long time.

Here is my take on the whole OSS and raft up thing...... first off, it is my understanding that there will not be a spot for people to watch the race from the water, on a boat. So, what's the point in even going up there if that is the case? Just wondering...and I may be totally wrong?! next, i will...

It was a good time considering all I went thru to get there Saturday. But this is one time I was glad for it to also be over with and home. Now looking forward to Memorial weekend! Harmon Creek....here I come!

oh WOW....it was an awesome weekend. did a lot of driving from one place to another also. but ended up at the lake saturday afternoon and spent the night on waterboys hb. ate at a mexican restraunt in albany....and we even took our own drinks in. now i'm wondering if the boys made it back from brist...
